سبحان موسوی

Dr. Sobhan Moosavi is a Data Scientist at Lyft Inc. (the second largest ride-sharing company in the U.S.), where he works on mapping, navigation, and travel time estimation. He has received his PhD in Computer Science from the Ohio State University, and prior to that, he earned his master’s in Computer Software Engineering and bachelor’s in Computer Science from University of Tehran (2012) and Shahid Beheshti University (2009), respectively. Sobhan is mainly interested in applications of data mining and machine learning. During his PhD, he worked on spatio-temporal and telematics data analysis to assess and predict driving risk. While still a student at Ohio State University, he was also a member of Enterprise Data Office at Nationwide Insurance Co. (the eighth largest auto insurance company in the U.S.), where he worked on telematics data analysis and driving risk prediction, to provide customized insurance policies for more than 100,000 drivers in the United States.
